The WCA Board of Directors received a comprehensive update on federal stimulus packages related to COVID-19 from Senator Tammy Baldwin​ and several members of her staff.

DEPARTMENT OF HOMELAND SECURITY STATEMENT ON REAL ID ENFORCEMENT DEADLINE
“Due to circumstances resulting from the COVID-19 pandemic and the national emergency declaration, the Department of Homeland Security, as directed by President Donald J. Trump, is extending the REAL ID enforcement deadline beyond the current October 1, 2020 deadline. I have determined that states require a twelve-month delay and that the new deadline for REAL ID enforcement is October 1, 2021. DHS will publish a notice of the new deadline in the Federal Register in the coming days.”

WISCONSIN RESTAURANT ASSOCIATION HOTLINE AND RESOURCES
The Wisconsin Restaurant Association (WRA) has set up a hotline to help answer questions related to HR, navigating operations, helpful tips, etc. The call center is available between 8:00 am – 4:30 pm M-F (with an option for messages during off hours) and WRA will take calls from both members and non-members at 608.270.9950.
