ACTION ALERT: CONTACT GOVERNOR AND REQUEST ALLOCATION OF 30% OF CARES ACT STATE FUNDING TO WISCONSIN COUNTIES-FUNDS MAY BE RELEASED THIS WEEK
Last week, WCA sent a letter to Governor Evers requesting counties be allocated 30% of funds the state received from the federal CARES Act. WCA thanks all the county officials who contacted the Governor’s office last week and reiterated the WCA request.

The U.S. Treasury recently released guidance on how federal CARES Act funds can be spent and WCA understands the Governor and his administration are now determining allocation of federal funds.

Given that an allocation of funds may be released by the Governor this week, please call/contact Governor Evers TODAY and again request county government be prioritized by being allocated 30% of federal funds received.
